Your Guide to the New Year!

2017 is so last year. No better way to celebrate the New Year than with a New Year’s Eve Party! Now with the holiday season ending, there is nothing greater than making the end of the year a night to be remembered. So make it extraordinary!

Here are a few ideas to make an unforgettable New Year’s Eve Party:

Glitter/Sparkle:

Always need a little sparkle for any event. Now, usually everyone removes their holiday décor for the New Year Eve party but the trick is to keep anything that still has anything gold and silver. One of the best décor would be a place setting with gold, silver, and red linen with white roses or any type of flower in a water vase with some glitter sprayed on the rose/flower to give it a little touch. Next would be silver or gold plates with a black linen folded in a subtle sparkle ring accessory. Another way to set the mood for a party is to have candles lit everywhere inside your house and outside.

Fabulous Hors d’oeuvres & Champagne:

Placing some stationary items for the event is something very easy for the guests to enjoy but also for the host not to worry about cleaning up so much. Something easy to be placed would be: an artisan cheese display which has a variety of different crackers, flatbreads & fruits. Another idea would be a Seafood bar which includes a vast array of seafood selections, jumbo shrimp, clams, oysters and crab claws with horseradish aioli, lemons & garnish. To spice up the food selections but also to entertain your guest having passed hors d’oeuvres will also help the party go smooth. The amount of passed hors d’oeuvres all depends on how many guests will attend the party. Some delicious items would be Vodka Infused Smoked Salmon, Mac & Cheese Phyllo Tarts, Petite Crab Cakes, Arancini with Marinara Dipping Sauce, Braised Short Ribs, Steak Skewers, Chicken or Turkey Meatballs, you name it we make it! The list keeps on going.

A champagne toast is always necessary for any event. To change up the way to do champagne toast is to have a waiter or two be presented with champagne by the entrance way as guests are welcomed into the home. This can also be done towards the end of the night as the ball begins to drop as they get ready to toast to the New Year.

Confetti & Celebration Cake:

The guests need something to pop other than champagne towards the ball drop, confetti would do the job. It may be messy, but it is so much fun. I am sure guests will be excited to capture boomerang shot as they pop the confetti as well at some point.

Celebration Cake, save the best for last! Everyone loves stuffing their face with a nice bite of cake towards the end of the night or if you are like me then any point of the night. The cake is best part of the party because everyone gets to see all the effort and décor the hosts came up with to make it so memorable yet delicious.
