New Year’s Planning Guide

2016 is so last year…literally. No other way to celebrate 2017 than in style with a creative traditional New Year’s Eve/Day Party. With the holiday season coming to an end, there is only one more opportunity to make the end of the year great After all, New Year’s Eve is all about out with the old and ringing in the new. Make it memorable!

3..2..1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Here are a few tips & items needed for a Fabulous New Years Eve Celebration.

Sparkle

Everyone believes in removing their Holiday decorations for a New Year’s Eve Party but the trick is to keep all silver & gold décor up.  Our Favorite Fabulous décor for a table setting is a silver, red or gold linen with blush pink with white flowers in clear vases.  Along with silver or gold plates placed with a darker silver or gold toned napkin folded on top of your plates.  Be sure to light candles all around your house and be sure to even light candles outside!  This sets the mood to be ready for a fun night into the New Year.

FABULOUS Small Bites

Stationary Appetizers are an easy grab for your guest to talk & snack at the same time with no mess.  A few options for a New Years Eve Party consist of a delicious Artisan Cheese Display that come with roasted nuts, flat bread, crackers & a variety of artisan cheeses & fruits.  Another great station to have for your guests is our Seafood Bar.  This consists of fabulous jumbo shrimp, clams, oysters, crab claws, horseradish, cocktail sauce, cucumber mignonette sauce, lemons & garnish.  Can’t you just taste the goodness already!

Now let’s move forward to Passed Hors d’oeuvres.  The number of passed items depends on the quantity of guest that you will be having at your NYE party.  A few favorites of ours include: Cajun Chicken, Mac & Cheese Phyllo Tarts, Petite Crab Cakes, Turkey Meatballs, Vodka Infused Smoked Salmon, Steak Skewers & oh how the list goes on!

Champagne

A Champagne toast to ring in the New Year is an absolute MUST.  But let’s try & do this the FABULOUS way rather than the basic, original way.  You can do a fancy champagne toast with waiters holding champagne glasses on trays as your guest enter the room ready to toast to a new year as the ball drop.  You can also have your champagne mixed with an infusion to make it even tastier than the original champagne that everyone has.  OR you can have little cocktail glasses with mini champagne bottles for each of your guest to open & pour themselves into the New Year.  The only important thing to remember for this is that everyone has a glass & is ready to drink amazing champagne!

Confetti

Your guests need something to throw into the New Year besides their toast & we know for sure we don’t want champagne infusions thrown all over your house!  Confetti is ALWAYS fun to have, although it is VERY messy.  Fun noisemakers that fit the color scheme to your dinner plating décor are the best route to have at the stroke of midnight.  Unless you don’t mind the confetti mess the next morning, then you can never go wrong with swimming in confetti.

Celebration Cake

Our absolute, most FAVORITE part of any party is the CAKE. This is the most fun part of any party because every creation is so breathtaking & most importantly, absolutely delicious.  As for Celebration Cake’s, these can be made in any way, shape or form that you desire.  Our Pastry Chefs are the top of the top & can create any wish that you command.  Any flavor, design & size we have you covered!

If there are any items that you are curious about for your New Year’s Party email us at info@fab-foods.com & we can guide you in an easy, relaxing direction so that you can enjoy your Celebration as well!

Happy New Year’s & we will see you all next year!
